Does it make sense that Marijuana is a Schedule 1 Drug and Cocaine is a Schedule 2 Drug?

Nope. Then again, the government completely ignores expert recommendations for drug classifications. For example, most experts recommended MDMA be a Schedule III drug (even the Judge), yet they made it a Schedule I drug anyway.
