Help with adhd meds and doctor?

im 21 male and i was diagnosed with adhd about a year ago and today i went to the doctor and said i wanted to try something different than adderall and he prescribed me a trial version of strattera (non stimulant) because he said anxiety might contribute to my adhd and he told me to come back in 4 weeks to see if it helped i took my first pill today and already have side effects such as being tired and i found my self to be a little angry and a little down all day and i refuse to live with these side effects and iv bein doing research and i really just wanna try vyvance cause alot of the add forums talk about how its better than adderall and it seems to be safer. im just afraid to ask for a certain medication and also returning to him a week after the strattera so i guess my question is what can and should i do. sorry if this is very confusing
