How do bipolar patients react to stimulants?

This past year I've tried several different stimulants for depression, sleeping disorder, and severe chronic fatigue and all of them make me really relaxed, take away my anxiety, and bring my heart rate down. None of my physicians understand this reaction but I think it is key to a proper diagnosis. I have never been diagnosed with ADHD and I don't have manic phases though I do have weeks of severe depression.
