Why can't I get a boyfriend?!?

I'm 14 years old, please don't give me answers like 'you're too young'. People say I'm quite pretty, I don't think I'm really ugly, although there are ALOT of girls who are definitely prettier than me... I've had one boyfriend...that was in Y8 and I don't want to sound desperate but...every girl wants a lovely boyfriend don't they? Any tips?
